304 M - 1000 FT
40 MM Case
Utilizing next-level technological advancements, the Oceanking is a modern interpretation of a mid-century dive watch. This superlative dive watch has a Swiss-certified water resistance to 304 M (1000 FT), assuring the chronometer-level Eterna 3909A Caliber will perform when it is most needed.
The bezel is a groundbreaking 12 part, double-patented assembly, allowing for perfect time measurement while diving.
This assembly uses a unique pin and washer system that aligns all eight parts symmetrically – truly a first in the watch industry. Of course, the highest level of scratch-resistant ceramic insert was utilized.
The crown’s unique design is intended for effortless operation while wearing diving gloves. Not just a pleasing aesthetic of early dive watches, the absence of a crown guard further aids in the crown’s accessibility.
The Oceanking’s Swiss-made hands are precision diamond cut and polished to an incredible luster. A symmetrical bevel on each hand confidently displays the finely polished rhodium (high grade platinum). For low-light situations, MONTA uses only Swiss-made Superluminova to create a lasting luminescent glow.
The Oceanking’s steel bracelet has reciprocating links that allow it to conform naturally to any wrist. A micro-adjustable clasp further enhances the bracelet’s ability to fit wrists of all sizes. Beveled edges on every single link and the buckle unify the design of the case and bracelet.
The Eterna 3909A is made entirely in Switzerland, tuned to a chronometer level (-4/+6 seconds a day), and beats at 4HZ (or 28,800 beats per hour).
A unique ball-bearing system, which allows for bi-directional winding, means the phenomenal 65-hour power reserve should have no trouble staying wound.
This class-leading movement is cased inside the watch using only screws and case clamps. No unsightly movement spacer is necessary.
Classic styling of a time lost, the Oceanking brings to life the beautiful tool watch period of the mid 1950s and early 1960s. This period of functional beauty and durability drove the design of watches that today are iconic and timeless. A heartful appreciation of the past and the use of tomorrow’s technology has merged to form a watch that will become a lasting icon.
